Adam, the son of God

The genealogy of Christ Jesus in Luke 3:23-38 ends with Jesus and starts with Adam which was the son of God. If we go back to Genesis 1 and read the story of creation we›ll see the beginning of OUR Father’s relationship with His children. We hope you can see the beauty and joy of that relationship. Our Father (God) had prepared everything for His children’s pleasure and needs.

In the beginning Adam was formed and became a living soul (Genesis 2:7). Then God showed Adam all that He had made for him and let him name all of the creatures that He had created (Genesis 2:18-19), what fun that must have been! God walked with Adam and Eve daily and taught them as His children (Isaiah 54:13). This shows us the true nature of God’s relationship with His children, as it was then and how it can be NOW: fun, loving, laughing, learning, trusting – togetherness.

This is where our journey will take us as we learn of Him for we are God’s children by His choice and birth!

  3. Jesus is Adam -the son of god.

    • Whoever you are, I believe that Adam and Jesus are the same. Jesus said, «I am the first and the last».

      • Do you still believe that Adam is Jesus?

        • I believe that Adam returned to atone for his sin in the garden, and thereby saving his children. Adam is the Father of all mankind, and Adam is the son of God. I believe there is only one who could reverse the curse for all, and It was not some rich boy from heaven, but the Father of us all and that would be Adam. Jesus did not have a vested interest in because he died for us, he had a vested interest in us because he is our Father, Adam.

          • Interesting. Suppose that Adam’s sin was justified ie Adam laid down his life for the sin of Eve, his bride that God had given him. Suppose that God now had to Kill Adam for the sin. Suppose that «The Son of God» saw the great sorrow of His Father and, because of His great love for His Father, the Son volunterred to take the place of Adam. (God had created mankind to prove His grace and mercy to satan, and if mankind were killed, well—–). Suppose that God said «If you will do this I will give You all things». And Jesus replied «At the end time, after all things are complete with Your purpose for mankind, I will return all things to You. The vested interest Jesus has for us is that we are to become His bride and joint heirs with Him in His kingdom.

      Wise words

  4. Both the first Adam and the last Adam (Christ) are God’s sons…

The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven. 1st Corinthians 15:45-47

  5. Hello!
Thanks so much! I just had this question and you answered it? My question was «Was Adam a son of God?»…I had several say «no».
But there was so much pointing to him being a son of God. Also, there were sons because it says so in Genesis 6 and Job 1 that there were «sons of God». now Blue letter Bible says that sometimes that is a word that Yahweh uses with kings. I›m not sure.
I was astonished to realize that Eve came out of Adam and the God healed the resulting wound. (because He took her out of his side from INSIDE him). So I believe that Adam was «inside» Yahweh, if certainly not His heart to create him. Plus He breathed into him and He received blood from Him. Isn’t that receiving someone’s DNA? So Eve was inside Adam and they were both inside God.
Plus, I heard someone teach (Robin Bullock @ GIAG.com) that Yahweh created a being that was as much like Him as could be possible WITHOUT being Him. Cool, huh?

  6. Adam is literally the son of God. In Heaven Adam was created, in the place where God resides. In Heaven there is a family, just like you have a family on earth with an earthly mother and earthly father. Although in Heaven you were a spirit son or daughter of Heavenly parents. You were actually born as a spirit first and lived with God. You and I were brothers and we had sisters as well, although our spirit bodies were perfect and we were able to learn, progress and increase in wisdom and knowledge.

While in the presence of God in his dwelling place we could only progress so far as spiritually possible. We were born as spirits and needed to gain a more tangible and fleshly tabernacle. That is what God has. He has a body of flesh and bones, quickened by spirit and not blood.

In order to gain a body like our Father in Heaven he created a world or planet in which we could be born of flesh and blood, as to say that our spirits would be joined with a tangible body through natural birth.

(Our spirits) We would gain a physical, tangible body of flesh and bones, and it would be powered by blood as well as by our spirits.

As to say in all this is Adam was and is a man and Son Of God…

  7. Adam is Jesus brother, both are the light both are different, both are the same, they will come soon and save you all.

  8. Adam is the first man. He is a Son of God. He symbolically represents Jesus Christ , ‹ The Son of God ‹. Not literally. Because Adam was made of mud. Jesus was the ‹ Word ‹ or thought through which all things were made. Jesus was God himself who had cone down to cancel the sin of the first man who committed the sin of the flesh. It could be cancelled only killing HIS flesh for the sin of the first man to the last man.
