America Repent and Pray

Reflecting on the demonstrations held across America on Monday it is clear to see that these ILLEGAL ALIENS have no respect for the laws of our land or the laws of our God; for He has said, “Obey the government, for God is the one who put it there. All governments have been placed in power by God. So those who refuse to obey the laws of the land are refusing to obey God, and punishment will follow” Romans 13:1-2.* Their open defiance and refusal to embrace our laws, language and culture show that they seek only to better themselves and not the Cities, Counties and States that they have infiltrated.

The root of this problem is American individuals, businesses, and corporations that employ ILLEGAL ALIENS. They too have decided to disregard the laws of the land and the laws of God, to increase their profits. Obviously, if there was no opportunity for ILLEGAL EMPLOYMENT then there would be no ILLEGAL EMPLOYEES!

While it is apparent that we cannot control our borders physically; Scripture shows that we can stand in the gap and hedge up our borders spiritually (Ezekiel 13:5). This will only happen “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways” 2 Chronicles 7:14. Turning from wickedness is the very definition of repentance, and as “His people, called by His name” we need to repent of our own wickedness, our father’s wickedness, and our Nation’s wickedness (Jeremiah 3:25), “then will He hear from heaven, and will forgive our sin, and will heal our land!” Truly He has said, “safety is of the LORD” Proverbs 21:30, and “except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain” Psalm 127:1.

1 Timothy 2:1-3 promises us if we pray “For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.” Join us therefore and REPENT. Then pray DAILY for Godly wisdom for our leaders and all those in authority, “for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds” 2 Corinthians 10:4.
