Easter Unplugged

Dear Pastor

What a joy to receive a letter of TRUTH from your inward parts.

Persecution is not MY WAY …Butt, 2nd Timothy 3:16-17 show you THE WAY… “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” My Son tells you in Revelation 3:19, “As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten…” LOVE and POWER speak from the cross that you have so predominantly displayed – in that too, you err.

Ishtar

After hearing and seeing the EASTER SERVICES I will correct you in love with truth! EASTER… is not of Christian origin and is another form of ISHTAR (Ashtoreth: Strongs 6252 & 6253) one of the titles of the Chaldean Goddess THE QUEEN OF HEAVEN. The Pagan celebration of ISHTAR was introduced into the APOSTATE WESTERN RELIGION as part of the attempt to adopt Pagan Festivals into Christianity (Vines Expository Dictionary).

Don’t you remember… “about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church. And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.) And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people” Acts 12:1-4.

So you see there is absolutely NO connection between MY Son’s resurrection and the Pagan Festival of ISHTAR; which started with and was to end with the sacrifice of one of Christ’s beloved lambs.

One Lamb “slain from the foundation of the world” Revelation 13:8, was sufficient for all, for ever, Mine.

Truly

I AM

PS – You should celebrate your own resurrection along with Him every day (Isaiah 26:19 & Ephesians 2:6)

  1. Ishtar is a goddess of fertility, love, war, and sex. In the Babylonian pantheon, she “was the divine personification of the planet Venus”. Astarte of Phoenicia was the offshoot of Ishtar of Assyria. To the Hebrews, this abomination was known as Ashtoreth — Ashtoroth

Ishtar was above all associated with sexuality: her cult involved sacred prostitution; her holy city Erech was called the “Town of the Sacred Courtesans”; and she herself was the “Courtesan of the Gods”. Ishtar had many lovers.

Ishtar was the daughter of Sin or Anu. She was particularly worshiped at Nineveh and Arbela (Erbil). Her symbol is an eight pointed star, or star in a circle… Wikipedia.org

  2. There is quite a connection between Ishtar and the Bible. Jesus stated in Revelation Chapter 22 that he was the “morning star’ and Son of David. This falls right in line with the Babylonian myths, since Ishtar was also called the morning star and her lover, Dumuzi, was a shepherd. I think the problem here is that you have groups who have not realized that Christianity is a Babylonian doctrine in all its facets. You can find more about the connection even starting with genesis Chapter 1 here:

  3. Unfortunately, I agree with you to a point… Denominational Christianity influenced by the Catholics with their Trinitarianism, does indeed look like just another Babylonian Doctrine! It is plain for me to see how much the “Doctrine of Demon’s” has influenced modern Christianity …Butt, “To us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. 1 Corinthians 8:6
