1a1) to save one suffering from disease, to make well, heal, restore to health
1b1) to preserve one who is in danger of destruction, to save or rescue

Salvation is the spiritual, physical, emotional and eternal deliverance granted by God to those who accept His gift of repentance and eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12 Jesus came To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
