The Workman is Worthy of His Hire!

Did you realize Jesus called his time here on earth work? As he was leaving his disciples to return to Heaven he said to God, Our Father, «I have finished the work you gave me to do!»

He also said, «The workman is worthy of his Hire.»

The Word «Workman» is the same word as «Laborer» and «Hire» is translated as «Wages, Meat (Food), or Reward»!

We know Jesus received a kingdom and all power in heaven and earth was given to Him. He also received a new name which only He knows, and He received us, we are His Inheritance!

Wow, what an honor to belong to Jesus! Now, He lives forever making intercession for us (working on Our behalf), and providing for all our needs! No one can come to Our Father – God, except through Him – Jesus… He sits at God’s right hand.

He also made a very clear statement as to what was expected from us…

«I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me…»

They replied, «Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?»

Jesus answered, «Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.»

When you give Food to The Hungry, Drink to The Thirsty, Lodging to The Strangers, Clothes to The Naked, Visit The Sick, Those in Prison, The Fatherless, and The Widows… You are giving and doing it to Jesus!

…Butt, Our «Churches» are full of, rich, healthy, well-dressed people who give their «offerings» to those who tell them about Jesus› Work! They take His Wages for doing nothing more than talking about what He did!

Jesus said if you give to The Poor, you are giving to Him!…

Are you giving to Jesus or are you giving someone else Jesus› Wages?

…Too Those who DO NOT GIVE, «Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.» Sounds pretty scary to me!

Have you ever considered that All of the Old Testament Offerings were DEAD? God had No Pleasure in them!

The only Offering that was Accepted by God was the Body of Christ…

By God’s will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Hebrews 10:10

Now, we are to Present Our Bodies a «Living Sacrifice» to God and then we are to DO WHAT PLEASES HIM: Loving our neighbors as ourselves, giving food to the hungry, drink to the thirsty, clothes to the naked, housing to the homeless, visiting the sick and those in prison, and helping the fatherless and widows!

God does not need, nor can He use, DEAD SACRIFICES or OFFERINGS!
