Dear Heavenly Father,
We “UR group” met and decided to review all You have taught us and bring to mind again just who we are. Several of us have given our thoughts as we assembled together.
We KNOW that You are, and You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek you. Your Son is Jesus the Christ, our Lord and High Priest. There is one Lord, one Baptism, One Spirit and One mediator between You and man, “The Man” Christ Jesus. Our sins are purged, not just forgiven. Forgiving somebody doesn’t change them…
We know the blood of Jesus has cleansed us from all unrighteousness – not of ourselves but by Your Will. You foreknew us, called us, sanctified us, justified us, glorified us and translated us into the kingdom of Your dear Son, who ever lives to make intercession for us. We are adopted by You, reconciled by the blood of Christ, and have received the atonement, whereby we cry Abba, Father (Daddy). You begat us by Your own will, so we set forth to You a truth, of and in our hearts. It is written, we believe therefore we speak. Now we are Your children and our name is Jesus Christ. Now we know Your will for our lives…
Sanctification: Separated unto You. Our sole purpose is our relationship with You, which we enter into by faith. Our relationship is based on the death and resurrection of Christ. We are separated from evil things, evil ways, and evil people. This Sanctification is Your will for all believers. It must be learned from You as You teach us by Your word. It must be pursued by us earnestly without fear, doubt, or unbelief. It cannot be transferred or imputed to us by any man. It is an individual possession and must be built up daily, as the result of obedience toward You and the teachings of Jesus Christ, through Your Spirit and the Holy Ghost sent down from Heaven. This Sanctification of the Spirit is the choice and election of and by You, our Father. This is Your will and heart’s desire for us.
Sanctification brings justification (free from all guilt and blame), redemption (bought back with the precious blood of Jesus). Jesus is our propitiation (gaining back the goodwill of another) and we are righteous (upright before you, morally sound in word, deed, and action). We are reconciled (peace between former enemies) and saved (rescued from all harm, danger, sickness, poverty, and death). We stand by grace and are saved by faith (our confidence in the testimony of another, our Lord Jesus Christ) sent by You to us. We believe, receive and rejoice… We are learning more daily!
We have learned that unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given. He was given unto each one of us individually. You have given unto every man the measure of faith according to the gift of Christ. We have learned the truth of Your seed. The seed of Abraham was not a dollar. Abraham believed You and hoped against hope. Simply meaning that hope in anything else but You, is hopeless “hope thou in God”, for our hope is in You. In this great wisdom we see what Your seed can do. Your seed came to Mary and produced Christ outwardly. Your seed came to us and produced Christ inwardly. We have finally grasped this truth… Christ in us – glorified by You – by Your operation and Your will. It cannot be taught by man, it must be received from You, through Jesus. We cannot join The Church, You add to The Church daily those that should be saved. It is so easy to understand: those that believe and are baptized shall be saved. Unless you are born of the water and the Spirit, you cannot see or enter into Your kingdom…
Now we need to do what Jesus did for those who crucified Him and did not believe. Forgive them Father, for we do not know if they have been led astray by false doctrine or if they are of Satan’s children (false prophets, false teachers – Antichrist) but You know, and we are to obey You in all things. Pray for our enemies is as much a part of the Gospel as repent and be baptized. We pray Father, that everyone who reads these words might know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent. We pray their eyes may be open to see, their ears open to hear, their hearts open to believe, that they may be converted, and come to Christ to be healed and live.
We have learned from Him that He places us into Your hand, to be loved and taught by You. Through the Promises of Abraham and the New Testament we are doubly blessed.
We love You,
Your Group,
PS – We know… when a man’s ways please the LORD, You make even his enemies to be at peace with him, for the battle is the Lord’s! Yahoooooo
Thanks for clear input;
My God help me not to hurt what I love.
Help me to be based on His living word, yes experiencing His word as living and not a usual today as killing word.
I am thirsty for spirituality which gives real life, thirsty for childlike simple faith.
I want to believe in spite of my doubtful and fearful heart.
I want to know the real God… not an imagination or a definition by some church leaders doctrine.
Please
Karl
Greetings Karl,
I agree with your prayer and say Amen!
