Jesus’ Inheritance – You!

The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way…My delights were with the sons of men!

Proverbs 8:22-36 is a great and precious revelation of the relationship between Jesus — The Wisdom of God — and his and our Father, [ Read it Here 🙂 ]. It is full of wisdom and truth you will never hear anyplace else!

I was ever beside him and daily his delight. My delight was with the children of men!

This is Jesus speaking of his own relationship and the joy he had with his and our Father. Because he delighted in us, we find God’s response to Jesus request in Psalm 28.

Ask of me and I will give you the heathen for your inheritance!

Did you know you were a gift to Jesus from God! It is written. God gave Jesus us — the Gentiles — to the outermost parts of the earth for his possession!

Jesus chose us before the foundation of the world, and God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world; that we should be holy and without blame before Them in love. Amazing truth that should get our attention!

We hear, “Choose Jesus as your Lord and Savior”, “Accept Jesus into your heart”, or “Make Jesus the Lord of your life”, preached and preached and preached. Now, let’s read it for ourselves as God wrote it!

It all started with Abraham the father of our Faith!

Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. You know therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In you shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham… Galatians 3:6-10

We find that Abram — Who became Abraham — was not circumcised (a Jew), when the promise of God was given to him. Paul makes this clear to us in Romans 4:11. We too, were included in this promise.

When Jesus came into the world he took on himself the seed of Abraham! God used him to deal with His Nation, the Jews. We (Non-Jews, Gentiles, or Heathen) did not even belong to God …Butt, in Jesus’ heart he had the promise that God would give him the heathen or Gentiles for his inheritance.

Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he has visited and redeemed his people, And has raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; The oath which he swore to our father Abraham! Luke 1:68-73

Jesus Christ was “The Minister of the Circumcision”, The Jews, to confirm the promises made unto their fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob! He Died, Descended into Hell, Rose the Third Day, and ascended to Heaven, to his Father and our Father, to his God and our God! God made him Lord of lords, and King of kings — You cannot make him Lord of anything — He already is Lord of All! When he returned after ascending to heaven he had a kingdom — US!!!

A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return… Luke 19:12

These are some startling words we need to hear and believe! God chose Paul to fulfill the promise and Jesus sent him to us. Paul even stated that he had fulfilled that promise! Jesus did not have to work to receive the gift, nor did he have to give his life a second time. The promise was set in motion before the foundation of the world. Promised by God to Jesus and brought to pass through Abraham, David, Jesus, and Paul!

Paul suffered and gave his life for us too! He was offered on the altar of our faith. He is The Minister of Christ to the Gentiles, just as Jesus was The Minister of God to the Jews. It is written. Both were sanctified by the coming of the Holy Ghost.

Paul stated very clearly, “Though you have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you have not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.” With the Word of Truth he begat us (brought us forth), not with works, good deeds, or money! Then he espoused (engaged) us to one husband, Jesus Christ…

Now We can become “The Bride of Christ!” This is how we get His Name. We do not accept Jesus! Jesus takes us as His Bride. God has accepted us in His Beloved Son Jesus Christ”! It is written…

Read it for yourselves, we were, and are Jesus’ inheritance. It was and is all by God’s Grace. If you try to become His any other way, you  fall from grace! “For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” You don’t work for a gift.

It works as Jesus said, “If you will believe it.”

When we are baptized, we become new creatures in Christ. Neither male nor female, neither Jews nor Gentiles. Our Circumcision is the “Circumcision of the Heart” in the spirit not in the flesh. We do become “Bone of His Bone and Flesh of His Flesh”, one with Jesus Christ in spirit and body, just like in any Marriage!

Paul was uniquely qualified for his position as Minister of the Gentiles.  He too, was a sinner saved by grace! He even called himself “The Greatest of Sinners”, because he persecuted Christ, in the form of Christ’s Church! His Body — People — not a building! You cannot arrest a Building, throw it into prison, and kill it. 😉

Paul loved both Jews and Gentiles…He was both a Jew, and a Gentile (Roman) by Birth!

It is God’s grace that I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. Romans 15:16

This truth changes the whole picture of salvation. God adopted us because we were Christ’s. Christ was “The Seed of Abraham”, of the “House of David”, of the “Tribe of Judah”, and salvation is of the Jews. The “Oracles”, or written Word of God came to us from them. Paul loved both nations, as we should. We should pray for the peace of Israel and Jerusalem!

It is God’s Love that makes us all One Family, the Family of God, with that holy and precious name of Jesus Christ…The one and only Family of God!

It is given to man, once to die, and then Judgment… We died with him on the cross as we were in him! We are buried with him in baptism, planted in the likeness of his death, and risen with him to die no more! That’s the Gospel!

And you are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power: In whom also you are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein you also are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who has raised him from the dead. Colossians 2:10-12

It is all of God — Have Faith in the operation of God. God loved us, bought us, and brought us into the One Sheepfold and gave us One Great Shepherd: Jesus Christ!

Quit leaving Paul’s and John the Baptist’s place in The Gospel out of your understanding! They were both chosen of God for you, as was Jesus. Jesus honored John the Baptist’s place in the redemption by being baptized by him. He honored Paul by revealing most of the New Testament to him, to give to us.

These truths should wake us up to The Truth! When Jesus said on the cross “It is finished”, it was finished! God can now come to us through Christ freely — As He did in the Garden of Eden! We do not have to go anywhere, to any building!

When Jesus Disciples asked him how he would reveal himself to them and not “The World”, He said, “I will come to your house. And if you love me, my Father and I will come in and live with you, and in you!”

Believe “The Gospel”, and obey his commandment, “Repent and be baptized…” Even though “All have sinned and come short of God’s Glory”, God will give you a brand new life, and a fresh new start. You can stand before Him, Holy and Blameless in His Love!!!

You don’t need to go anywhere to worship Him. He wants to come into Your Home (where you live, and your body). Nor do you need to buy any of man’s books, CD’s, or trinkets. Your salvation rests on the finished work of God, Christ, Paul, and all those they sent to us: His Word, His Disciples,  His Angels, His Truths, His Instructions, and His Eternal Love — God is Love!

So rest in the promise, enter in and enjoy your place; seated in the Heavenlies with Christ! Having access to God through him. God sees you and cheers you when you go into your closet and shut the door to pray. He told you where to go to meet with him in the “Secret Kingdom”!

The world does not know …Butt, now you know! They wrote it all out for you in a book you can read for yourself. It is written for you. You are His child with the promise that He would teach you, lead you, and guide you.

IF God is your Father, learn of Him through Christ and all those they sent. Remember, you are a precious gift from God to Jesus Christ, who gave his life for you so you could live with him eternally. So did many others. You are greatly loved!

Quit trying to improve, change, or buy any of God’s Word or Jesus’ Work! Quit twisting, adding to, or taking away from Their Words. They planned it. They did it. They wrote it in a book for you. Read it, believe it, receive it, and enjoy it. The best is yet to come!

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1

If you present yourself a living sacrifice in baptism you will be accepted in the beloved (Jesus Christ) at his hearts request and delight. Read and learn the truth from those who were there with him. They heard and knew The Truth.

No Minister of any Demon-nation, or Televangelist was there. They know nothing or they would not be teaching you something different from what’s written!

It is God who will translate (place) you into the Kingdom of His Dear Son. He seats you there next to Him! That’s the Grace and work of God, not something you can do for yourself! If you try any other way you will fall from Grace.

Grace is God’s love in action and it’s all of God. You can reject or accept it, believe it, receive it, and rejoice in it as It is Written. Or, you can try any of man’s foolish ways …Butt, it is not their Word nor is Heaven at their disposal for money!

There is one God, One Way, and One Name above all names. They finished it together for you, and wrote it out in English for you! So you would not be lied to, or deceived by Man into trying to do what only they could… and have already done!

And they shall be my people, and I will be their God: And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me. Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good! Jeremiah 32:38-41

No one seems to realize God sent Jesus to die for you! Because He loved you!

God will put Angels in charge of you to help you, protect you, and to fight your battles for you! You put God’s angels in motion by the words of your mouth, where the word of God is, “The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart…” Romans 10:8

The Word of His Power is in you! Your job is to speak it out. He’s done His job by putting His Word in your heart, in your mind, and in your mouth. Speak them with the authority of The Name you bear, The Name of Jesus Christ, just as he did. Your Faith coupled with His Word  is The Power.

God sent His Son, “The Living Word”, to destroy the works of the Devil and you can too. The Sword of The Spirit is the Word of God. It is our main weapon. Our weapons are not carnal (Fleshly or Physical) but mighty to the pulling down of Satan’s Strongholds!

We are co-laborers with God, and ambassadors for Christ. God’s Words and Christ’s name; that’s the winning combination and you can have it!

Believe it, receive it, use it, and watch it work. Our father, Christ, and Us — what a team! Empowered by the Holy Spirit, the Holy Ghost, and an innumerable (so many they cannot be counted) number of angels. The Family and Household of God in Jesus Christ!

We are more than conquerors. We are liberators — We have been set free to set others free!

  1. Jesus Christ is our director of everything. Missions is very important. Missions is found in the mind of God, where all the mysteries of his kingdom are kept. This is called theological definition as the study of God, His nature and His doing in history. We should believe in Jesus, and 2nd Timothy 3:16, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. The entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation is a message of missions. It is the original intention God had in mind when His Spirit inspired the forty authors that wrote the bible.

  2. Following the ascension of Jesus, the remaining eleven of his primary disciples and those in Jesus’ extended circle of confidantes and followers gathered together in an “upper room” (Acts 1:12-13) to pray.

When the day of Pentecost came, the writer of Acts records that the Holy Spirit descended on the followers of Christ in “tongues of fire” and with a “mighty wind” (Acts 2:1-3). When this incredible and supernatural event happened, it attracted quite a crowd – and gave the apostle Peter a dramatic opportunity to stand up publicly and be counted as a follower of Christ (an opportunity he failed to take on the night of Jesus’ trial).

Following Peter’s sermon, the writer of Acts reports that “about 3,000 souls” were incorporated into the new Jerusalem church – the “church” being the fellowship of believers in and followers of Jesus Christ.

    The Spread of Christianity
The remainder of Acts lays out the rapid spread of Christianity from Jerusalem through Judea and Samaria and into the Graeco-Roman world. This spread was powered by Jesus’ primary disciples, especially Peter and John, and Jesus’ half-brother, James, who became the leader of the Jerusalem church. And then came Paul, the most prolific pen of the first century Christian community and one of the most committed missionaries in the history of Christianity.

    Lesson in Growth
The clear lesson from the life of Christ and the book of Acts (a lesson fueled by the epistles) is that the church is to be constantly expanding – constantly on the move. And that its impact should not be restricted to formal church services, but rather to the community itself, even to the point of reaching families “house to house.”

A local church that withdraws into closed-door legalism, “Comfort Zone” complacency, or elitist judgmentalism is a church outside of God’s will. This is not to suggest that a church shouldn’t stand for truth or practice sound doctrine. Both are clearly part of God’s mandate for the church.

The biblical model for a church is a church that actively and passionately ministers to both the physical and spiritual needs of those around it — especially, of course, the spiritual needs. Such a church should desire to grow — not for its own glory or satisfaction, but because of its love for God and the people within its reach.

    • This I’d definitely a word from God I am grace to be a part of God movement in the body of Christ a continual growth I the body of Christ to help usher in his coming and so grateful to be a part of this end time harvest to be a vessel willingly to be used by God. Amen all Glory to God.

  3. Just wanted you to know, “but” a conjunction, has only one “t”. Be blessed! 🙂

  4. Love this exposition!!
