1b1) to preserve one who is in danger of destruction, to save or rescue
Salvation is the spiritual, physical, emotional and eternal deliverance granted by God to those who accept His gift of repentance and eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
