Baptism

Baptism: baptisma [bap-tis-mah] Strongs 908 from 907
1) immersion, submersion

The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 3:21).

Romans 6:3-4 tells us we are baptized into Jesus Christ and into his death, we are buried with him by baptism into death and like Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father we should walk in newness of life – a brand new life and a clear conscience!

Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise (Isaiah 26:19). But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us (made us alive) together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:4-6).
