The House built upon the Sand

Whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

And every one that hears these sayings of mine, and does them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it…
Matthew 7:24-27

The Vision

I awoke and it was night and very dark. There was a tremendous storm starting outside. Lightning was flashing through the windows and thunder was just rolling on and on…It started to rain slowly at first but soon it was coming down in sheets. The wind began to howl and I felt in my heart it was time for us to go…

I got my family up and ready and we went outside. There was a beautiful Red Truck waiting for us. We got into the Red Truck and it started to go. I was in the driver’s seat but did not have control. As we went I admired the interior. It was warm and very comfortable. I looked at the steering wheel to see what kind of truck it was, but there was no manufacturers name or label!

Soon we approached a giant river, overflowing its banks. I looked for a bridge or some way to get across and there was none, yet we kept going! The water was getting deeper and deeper. Much to my amazement we didn’t sink, the Red Truck just kept going…

When we got to the middle of the river the water was rushing past us in a frenzy. It was full of debris, dirt, sticks, trees, pieces of houses, and other building materials. I was looking down into the water and all of a sudden it was perfectly clear. I could see a house lying on the bottom of the river. It was flattened like a house of cards that had fallen over sideways…

Suddenly we arrived on the other side, SAFE and SOUND!!!

In the morning I raced over to the “Man of God’s” home and shared what I had seen.

He said God had given me a vision and we should pray for the Gift of Interpretation!

So, we prayed together and asked the Lord for the interpretation… He gave it to us:

  • The Storm was Evil come in like a flood. (Isaiah 59:19)
  • The beautiful Truck was the Mighty Hand of God covered by the Red Blood of Jesus
  • The house on the bottom of the river was one that was “Built upon the Sand”, by “conventional” or “earthly” wisdom!

Unless the LORD builds the house, its builder’s labor in vain… Psalm 127:1

Proverbs 9:10-12 tells us — Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in understanding. Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life. If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. If you scorn wisdom, you will be the one to suffer…

So HEAR the Words of Jesus and DO THEM. You can be a WISE Master Builder that Builds his Home, Life, Relationships, and Business on The Rock

the storm is coming!!!
