New Jerusalem Council

Dear Pastor,

I received your letter with much Joy. Even with all my “letters” to earth I’ve never gotten one back. Thank you!

In order to discuss your letter we called a counsel – Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety (Proverbs 11:14). All My Sons came, your letter was shared, and their counsel was given. This was, of course, the first “New Jerusalem Council.”

Isaiah naturally cried, “to the Law and Testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them (Isaiah 8:20).”

Paul said, “therefore Love is the fulfilling of the Law (Romans 13:10) and Christ already fulfilled it (Romans 10:4).”

John quoted his own letter, “for this is the witness (testimony) of God which he hath testified of his Son (1 John 5:9) – thats done.”

There were differences of opinion here as sometimes happens there! Surprised? Remember Paul and Mark (Acts 15:37-40) or Peter and Paul (Galatians 2:11)?

Abraham spoke and all listened; even King David and King Solomon, for Abraham is the father of many nations (Genesis 17:4-5). “I believed God and it was counted unto me for righteousness (James 2:23) but Your Pastor doesn’t believe, so what can we do?”

God answered, “Hear these words – for they are faithful and true.”

You have chosen not to call yourself by My Son’s Name, which I honored you with, so do not call me Father, for you do not bear His Name (neither is there salvation in any other Acts 4:12). You have divided Him up (1 Corinthians 1:12-13) and given yourselves names that have no power or honor, here or on earth.

I AM still God and that is your hope – because I AM the God of love, power, mercy and the “giver of every good and perfect gift” (James 1:17), I AM sending you a gift… FEAR – Godly fear (Jeremiah 32:39-40) – for the fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10) and the gift that will lead you to salvation (Jude 23)!

Truly,

I AM
