Repentance: metanoia [met-anâ-oy-ah] Strong’s 3341
a change of mind, as it appears to one who repents, of a purpose he has formed or of something he has done. To turn away from sin, misdeeds and moral short comings and to dedicate one’s self to obedience toward God. To turn from darkness to Light and from the power of satan to the Living God.
Repentance should lead to baptism, for the scripture says
“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” Acts 2:38-39
While it is apparent that we cannot control our borders physically; Scripture shows that we can stand in the gap and hedge up our borders spiritually (Ezekiel 13:5). This will only happen; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways (2 Chronicles 7:14). Turning from wickedness is the very definition of repentance, and as His people, called by His name we need to repent of our own wickedness, our father’s wickedness, and our Nation’s wickedness (Jeremiah 3:25), then will He hear from heaven, and will forgive our sin, and will heal our land! Truly He has said, safety is of the LORD (Proverbs 21:30) and except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain (Psalm 127:1)
I can’t disagree more. The Lord is coming back to judge the world. That is why he’s called out the saints to purify to himself a nation of priest to offer up spiritual sacrifices. The world had its chance. They killed the Lord, remember?
